To receive the deck core, at the end of the draft you must announce that you are choosing a deck core and then you must give up the equal amount of monsters, spells, traps and extra deck monsters listed with your deck core at the end of the draft. In order to draft a certain deck you must have the corresponding deck core to match the deck. However, due to their ease of building a deck they come with some restrictions.
There are no duplicates of Deck Cores, each is entirely unique. This style of deck building allows players to formulate an entire dueling strategy based around one card.

These Deck Cores offer you the ability to wield a powerful archetype deck at their full power without going to the trouble to draft so any specific cards.
When constructing a deck in the Battle City Cube Tournament there will be 5 randomly selected face up Deck Core tokens open for all players to claim at any time and 8 Deck core tokens all placed into red sleeves inside cube packs, you are allowed to draft up to 2 of these cards.
